Starry starry Night...Timeless Piece of music

Lately I stumbled upon an old record of Don Mclean in my storeroom, nevertheless, i decided to check it out and boy am I glad that I listened to one of his hit singles, Starry starry night. Filled with gentle and subtle lyrics, written in the simplest form of abstract literature, this piece is indeed one that really captures my attention. The song is indeed meaningful in every single way and one can only wish the renditions of the song reflects life in reality.Churrah people...

TAYLOR'S DANCE ARENA

Dance Arena is here!

Dance Arena is among the biggest dance competitions in Malaysia, and is organised by the Taylor's Dance Club! This event promotes a healthy lifestyle through dancing among teens and young adults. It's going to be pretty awesome. And, dancers, this is the time for you to showcase your talent and your time to shine!

Show 'em what you've got.

When? 22nd August 2009.
Where? Taylor's College Subang Jaya Main Campus.
Time? 7-11 p.m.


Also, it's going to be an ALCOHOL-FREE, DRUG-FREE, and NON-SMOKING event. (We're very serious about this.)


As for prizes, there's currently a total of RM 3500 cash up for grabs! Among our sponsors are SMASH, Celebrity Fitness, and Guess Watches.


Just a few of the terms and conditions:

• Participant age: Below 23 years
• No. of crew members: 2-10
• Registration fee: RM70
  
• Performance time limit: 3-7 minutes

Registration opens on the 10th of July! For auditions and registration, all crews are required to post a video response to the YouTube video Dance Arena '09 Invitation. The audition video:

• should contain a brief introduction of the crew as well as an original routine featuring all members of the crew
• routine (excluding the introduction) should be 60 to 90 seconds in length
• should be titled "TDA09 Aud - [Name]" with the name of the participating crew in place of [Name]
• should be submitted by 31st July 09

In addition to the audition video, a preliminary fee of RM 20 should also be banked in. Participating crews should submit a registration email to taylorsdanceclub@gmail.com. The registration email:

• should be titled "DA09 Reg - [Name]" with the name of the participating crew in place of [Name]
• should contain each crew member's name, age, and school/college (if applicable)
• should be submitted by 31st July 09
• may contain the previously-mentioned proof of age (scanned), this proof of age may also be faxed
• should include the details of the transaction of the preliminary fee for verification of payment

Seriously, why in the very world am I spending 2 hours or so editing a freaking blog??!! I really did not see this coming even if it was a million years!! I guess all the hype about everyone seems to be having a blog finally seeped through the very veins in me, and so...TaDaDaDa, eat my smoke ppl! =) My first post! MuAhaha.(Doubt there will be a second though)
